Marriage Timeline

2003

August 20:

• Sealed in the Boise, Idaho Temple

August 21:

• Honeymoon cruise to Ensenada, Mexico

2004

April-September:

• Eric & Cass graduate from BYU-Idaho
• Eric works for Idaho Statesman
• Eric & Cass move to Omaha, Nebraska so Eric can attend Creighton University School of Law

2006

May-September:

• Eric & Cass move to Arlington, VA (near Washington, DC) for a legal internship at the First Amendment Center

2007

May:

• Eric earns his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law

2007-09

August-August:

• Eric & Cass move to the beautiful, tropical island of Saipan while Eric works for the Supreme Court of the Northern Mariana Islands. While there, they travel to some incredible places - Manila, Philippines; Kona, Hawaii; Seoul, Korea; Bali, Indonesia; and neighboring islands, Tinian, Rota & Guam.
  
  They also experience unique service opportunities while on-island. During our 2 years, Eric served as youth Sunday School teacher, Scout Leader, Youth Conference Director & Branch President while Cassandra served as youth Sunday School teacher, YW Counselor, YW President, Girls Camp Director, and Youth Conference Director.

2009-now

Starting in August:

• Eric & Cass move back to Boise, Idaho and buy their first house
• Eric works as an attorney for a local law firm
• Cassandra continues to work as a web designer
• Eric serves as a Youth Sunday School teacher, and Cassandra serves as Young Women President.

Adoption Timeline

2012

Monday, January 23:

• Orientation meeting with LDS Family Services
• Contacted 4 close friends to help with adoption reference letters
• Contacted Fertility Clinic to fill out form
• Contacted Bishop to fill out form

Thursday, February 2:

• Medical Exams for Eric and Cass (blood tests, blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol, tetanus shots, etc.)

Friday, February 10:

• Turned in Application & Fee. All letters and forms turned in. Finished Phase I of the adoption process!

Tuesday, February 14:

• Intake (Valentine's Day)

Tuesday, February 20:

• Completed several online forms and questionnaires and turned in most of our offline documents for Phase II (President's Day)

Tuesday, February 23:

• Fingerprinting/background checks

Tuesday, March 6:

• Cassie's Individual Interview w/Adoption Supervisor

Thursday, March 15:

• Eric's Individual Interview  w/Adoption Supervisor

Tuesday, March 20:

• Home study (Dad's birthday!)

Friday, March 23:

• Profile is live!

Thursday, April 5:

• FSA Meeting | What to do while you are waiting...
